about

Katrina grew up in chilly southern Colorado, the land of cool sunshine. Her parents are from Argentina and during a childhood visit to Patagonia she strolled leisurely with a group of penguins and has drawn them ever since.

She creates narrative illustrations, books, and comics. She published two international picture books, “La Visita De Los Troles” - Spain and “El Gato E O Macaco” - Portugal. Trained as a printmaker, she works with nib/brush and ink on paper sometimes colored digitally.

After 15 years in NYC and Philadelphia, she is currently an Assistant Professor of Illustration at Boise State University in Idaho.
